Contemporary I: This class is for students who are in 1st and 2nd grade. Students in this class will learn basic contemporary movement and the coordination of upper body and lower body movements together. Music will be a collection of softer pop music, lyrical, soft rock, and percussion.
Contemporary II: Students in this class are in 2nd grade and older. Prior contemporary experience or ballet experience needed. This class furthers the training from Contemporary I. More complex steps, flexibility, and combinations are given.
Lyrical II/III: Lyrical dance blends the grace of ballet with the energy of jazz to create expressive, story-driven movement. In this class, dancers strengthen their technique with balance, flexibility, and extensions while also learning how to connect emotionally to music. Students will focus on fluidity and artistry, building confidence as they tell stories through choreography designed to inspire both the dancer and the audience.
Lyrical IV/V: This advanced lyrical class challenges dancers to refine their technique and deepen their artistry. Students will work on complex turns, extensions, floor work, and dynamic transitions, while also developing the emotional depth needed to bring choreography to life.
